Modular nurses' station

MODULAR NURSES' STATION
Design of a modular furniture system intended for a nursing station.
A variety of activities are performed at the nursing station, including filing, monitoring the condition of patients and admitting them to the ward.
During the initial design phase, observation in hospitals and interviews with medical
professionals were conducted.
An ergonomic analysis was developed based on anthropometric data and using a 1:1 scale functional model.
The proposed solution consists of modules and complementary elements to achieve the desired configurations.
The structure of the stand is based on a metal frame, clad on the front with furniture board and supplemented with countertops.
The system optimizes the nurses' workspace. All necessary items are within easy reach and sight.
An important aspect of the project is to ensure that medical records can be secured, including in the event of a quick leaving of the workplace.
The lowered counter allows a comfortable vehicle for wheelchair users and the approach to the counter of children who like to visit the point during their hospital stay.
